Free Online Pomodoro Timer

This Pomodoro timer divides work into focused sessions followed by deliberate breaks. The standard rhythm uses 25 minutes of focus, a 5-minute short break, and a longer break after four completed sessions. You can change every interval to suit studying, writing, design work, revision or other concentration-heavy tasks.

How to Use the Pomodoro Technique

Choose a task, start the focus timer and work on that task only until the interval ends. Take the scheduled break, then begin the next session. The session counter shows your current position in the cycle, while today’s completed sessions and focused minutes are stored locally in your browser.

Custom Focus and Break Lengths

Open Timer settings to change the focus duration, short break, long break and number of sessions per cycle. You can also enable automatic interval changes or a quiet ticking sound. Your preferences remain on this device and are not uploaded to an account.

Pomodoro Timer for Study and Work

A visible countdown can make a large task feel manageable by defining a clear stopping point. Students can use it for revision and reading, while remote workers, creators and developers can use it to protect uninterrupted work blocks and remember to step away regularly.

Why Take Scheduled Breaks?

Breaks are part of the method rather than wasted time. Use short breaks to stand up, stretch, drink water or rest your eyes. The longer break marks the end of a full cycle and gives you more time to recover before beginning another round.
